Our Summer Bucket List

Summer may be coming to a close, but that sunshine isn’t gone just yet! Here are some of our favorite summer activities:

1. Float the Provo River - if you have a free afternoon and need to cool off, this is the perfect activity! You can book a slot online, get shuttled up the canyon and then grab a tube and hit the water. (Fair warning - its snow melt so its freezing but it feels good in the heat). You will love floating down the meandering river, with a couple thrilling quick sections, watching the beautiful tree covered canyon walls pass by.

2. Moab Music Festival - Moab is a must-visit in Utah with it’s stunning red rocks, cute town and access to tons of adventure in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, river rafting, 4 wheeling, the list goes on! But September is an even better time to enjoy the last bits of summer when they host world-class musicians who play in gorgeous red rock venues around Moab. It is referred to as “music in concert with the landscape®”.

3. Park City Mountain Resort - This world-class ski resort may be a top destination in the winter, but don’t sleep on it in the summer. There is something for everyone here! Get a thrill cruising down the alpine slide or mountain coaster, fly high on the zip line or whoosh down the downhill biking trails. Or for something a bit more calm, go on a scenic lift ride or enjoy lunch at one of the great local restaurants.

4. Utah Shakespeare Festival - A artistic gem in a surprising place! Cedar City is a small town in Southern Utah that is home to Southern Utah University. Every year they put on a theatrical festival performing the works of Shakespeare with impressive set design and high quality performances.

5. Watch a Real Salt Lake Game - Only a 10 minute drive from Point of View, you can catch a summer game at Rio Tinto Stadium to watch our MLS team Real Salt Lake play against the other top teams in the nation. Not only will you have blast watching the action, you also get the most incredible view of the Wasatch mountains in the backdrop of the stadium.
